Louise McMilan
Inspirational Speaker on my personal experience of Mental Health and Breast Cancer
I’ve suffered from limiting self-belief and lack of self-confidence for most of my life. I really understand the anxieties that arise and stop you from doing what you really want whether this is in your professional or personal life. In 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’ve come out of the other side, and it’s resolved my desire to help people. It also gave me the most valuable lesson of all – I must start living the life I want now!! And that means being true to me and doing what makes me happy – helping others to happiness and ultimately enabling them to “Live life more fully”.

Breast Cancer Awareness:
Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK. Most women who are diagnosed with breast cancer are over the age of 50, however younger women can still be diagnosed with breast cancer. About 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. There's a good chance of recovery if it's detected at an early stage. For this reason, it's vital that women check their breasts regularly for any changes and always have any changes examined by a GP.
For more information visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/breast-cancer/
We will be fundraising throughout the month of October and at the event in November, all proceeds will be donated to a selected Breast Cancer charity.
