Enhancing Cybersecurity at Friends of the Elderly with Core to Cloud Solutions

Friends of the Elderly faced a challenge of implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This involved overcoming several logistical hurdles, such as ensuring compatibility with critical systems that do not support MFA, providing solutions for users without smartphones by distributing physical security keys, and managing the extensive physical rollout across ten care homes nationwide.

Friends of the Elderly is a not-for-profit organisation. Today, the charity provides care home and day-care services for older people and grants for elderly people in financial difficulty. Their priority is to help older people live well in later life, whether they are living in one of their care homes or they are helping to improve their lives at home through a grant. The charity does not have shareholders and is a not-for-profit organisation.
