NCG, one of the UK’s largest college groups, recognised that protecting a distributed and constantly evolving IT environment required more than annual penetration testing. With a shared IT function supporting seven colleges, a Higher Education Centre, an online learning division, around 45,000 learners and nearly 3,000 staff, the organisation needed a practical way to validate security improvements throughout the year without adding unnecessary operational overhead.
Working with Core to Cloud, NCG implemented Horizon3.ai to provide continuous security validation across its live environment. The platform enables the team to test changes as they happen, confirm whether remediation has been effective and demonstrate the impact of cyber security investments to internal stakeholders. Supported by Core to Cloud’s consultative, relationship-led approach, NCG has gained stronger visibility, clearer business insight and greater confidence in the progress being made across its cyber security programme.
