WELCOME TO THE CORE, HOME OF CORE TO CLOUD
The Core, is exclusively available for hire for only the friends of Core to Cloud. This includes our Partners, Local Charities, Educational institutes, Local businesses and anyone making a difference through the use of technology.
The space, offers an impressive backdrop for events, corporate functions, conferences and meetings. Located in the beautiful Cecily Hill Barracks, built in 1857 as the Royal North Gloucestershire Militia Armoury. After the Army had no more use for the barracks, the Castle became a commercial building owned by the Bathurst Estate. The Barracks (known locally as The Castle) stands at the entrance to Cirencester Park and is the new HQ of Core to Cloud.
The Core venue is in the heart of the Cotswolds, within a 40 minutes drive of the new Cybersecurity Valley and GCHQ in Cheltenham. With close access to the M4 and M5 and local train stations in Kemble and Swindon.

THE THEATRE
A private cinema, but not like anything you have seen before, some might say it really is out of this world. The Star Wars-themed cinema can seat 30 people snuggly on the plush leather seats and 25 with a little more room to stretch your legs. Perfect for any presentations, pitches, previews or to catch up and watch your favourite film. Air conditioned for the summer and kept warm throughout the winter – we even have electric blinds to ensure the use of this room is truly effortless.
This room includes all the seating, screening, sound system, projector, HTMI cabling and the wow factor. White boards, note boards and flip charts are available on request.
THE ARMOURY
Our brand new meeting room is bright, light and practical. This room is perfect for small group meetings for 10 cabarets or 12 in a round table. This room comes equipped with a large desk, large working units to spread out, a whiteboard, pens, and a smart TV screen. The whole site has super-fast Wi-Fi and this meeting room is a great spot to be creative, offer training, present or offer team-building activities. Notebooks and flip charts are available on request.
THE CHAMBER OF THOUGHTS
This room is custom-built for podcasts, kitted out with microphones, a sound desk and soundproofing – this is the perfect space to record your very own podcasts. The room has air conditioning to keep you cool or warm and even your very own ‘ON AIR’ sign when you are recording. The room hosts a maximum of 4 people plus a sound engineer. If you require a sound engineer to support the recording, editing and creation of your podcast please contact the fantastic OTTR team who can bring your podcast to life.
This room is also perfect for an intimate meeting room, especially if it needs to be confidential. White boards, notebooks and flip charts are available on request.
THE CORE
Our bespoke event space – This room is an amazing purpose built event space with a projector screen, sound system, PA, tables, chairs and seating. The space has a neutral colour palette and can bring to life any event or brand, with branding opportunities to be added through vinyl stickers on the seats, tables and carpet you can really make this one of a kind. We also include The Armoury as part of your venue hire when you book The Core.

OPENING TIMES:
The Core is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
All rooms can be hired full day or half day. Evenings and later open times on request and will be accommodated where possible.
SECURITY:
The Core is located at Core to Cloud HQ’s where security is taken seriously, therefore all guests will need to be checked-in and require a entrance fob for the room that is hired. Making sure you have piece of mind that only the people attending your events are there and all your personal belongings are secure.
CATERING:
All catering is provided by our partner Jonathan Richardson. Please contact him directly for all your requirements as he has an on site kitchen at our venue.
