A Potential Threat in any Language: ChatGPT & Bard

Laurence Bentley, the Head of Cybersecurity at Core to Cloud, has discussed the potential risks posed by AI chatbots, ChatGPT, and Bard, to businesses.

These chatbots have gained a lot of attention lately due to their advanced natural language processing models. Recently, Microsoft invested $10 billion into Maker OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, while Google also launched its own natural language tool, Bard, to rival ChatGPT.

While ChatGPT and Bard have been developed to interact in a conversational way and generate human-like text, cyber attackers can exploit this technology for malicious purposes. Although it has positive uses, such as speeding up processes and simplifying complex concepts, it is important to acknowledge the risks associated with this technology.
