ChatGPT is the exciting new chatbot and language model which everyone is talking about. Microsoft has recently invested $10 billion into Maker OpenAI, the maker of the chatbot which interacts in a conversational way. While Google isn’t far behind, having just launched its own natural language tool, Bard, which looks to rival ChatGPT.
Bard and ChatGPT’s state-of-the-art natural language processing models mean it’s capable of generating human-like text based on a given prompt. While this technology is already being used in lots of positive ways to speed up processes such as for writing code or explaining complex concepts, the same features that make it so useful can also be exploited by cyber-attackers for malicious purposes.
